Integrated Production Technology
INTEGRATED PRODUCTION TECHNOLOGY
The Integrated Production Technology program is dual-enrolled with Fletcher Community College’s Integrated Production Technology program and River Parish Community College’s Process Technology program. Students entering this program should be proficient in algebra and physical science. Field trips, projects, and internships will provide students the opportunity for application of IPT course strategies. The following IPT courses will be offered at CMC:
- IPT Oil and Gas (Fall only, open to juniors and seniors)
- IPT Process Technician I (Spring only, taken after IPT Oil and Gas)
- IPT Process Technician II (Fall only, taken after IPT Process Technician I)
- IPT T-2 Safety (Spring only, taken after IPT Process Technician II)
Once students complete the courses and graduate, they will be workforce ready. It will benefit the student to continue their education at FCC to earn an associate’s degree. The high school student who studies IPT may acquire 21 credit hours during the last two years of high school for a savings of at least $18,000 of tuition and fees at FCC.
