Within the construction crafts, welding is in most demand in Louisiana. In the Houma-Lafourche area alone, there are over 200 openings for welders who are earning top pay. National Center for Construction and Education Research (NCCER) will provide the safety and welding curriculum; these classes are dual-enrolled with Louisiana Technical College System and Fletcher Community College.
