Our CCMA and PCT students are diving into the world of infection control, while our Culinary students are studying the importance of proper hand hygiene. These programs recently came together for a hands-on Glow Germ activity to see firsthand just how easily “germs” can spread! 🤝

After high fives and handshakes, students placed their hands under a black light and watched as the simulated contamination lit up! 😳 They then practiced proper handwashing techniques and checked their hands again to see how well they had cleaned them.

Meanwhile, our CCMA and PCT students are also learning about PPE and standard precautions—essential skills for protecting themselves and others in healthcare settings. 🧤🥼

Hands-on learning like this helps students connect what they learn in the classroom to real-world careers and reinforces an important lesson for everyone: proper hand hygiene and infection control matter!
